Jean Monnet Chair at Marin Barleti University in cooperation with the UNESCO Chair and Albanian Institute for Public Affairs, supported by the Embassy of Netherlands in Albania, is implementing the Public Mobile Academy, a project conceived as a series of lectures and workshops on various issues related to the recent developments in the country, focusing on European integration and Human Rights. On June 22, 2016, prof. Egbert Myjer held an open lecture concerning contemporary issues in the field of European integration and human rights. Prof. mr. Egbert Myjer, an academic expert of judiciary and for many years member of the Human Rights Court in Strasbourg, made a detailed summary of the historical development of human rights and their importance on the European Integration. Prof. Myjer talked about the implementation of the human rights legislation in different fields, in European countries bringing cases from the Human Rights Court.
